Eloped
As soon as I heard the tragic news that Lydia had eloped with that foul man, Wickham, I immediately blamed myself. Thank goodness that Elizabeth didn't blame me for the elope between the two, for women can be unnaturally accusing. I just hope that Lydia does not elope with Wickham and returns to her senses. I have been employing means to search for the two in any way I can. I hope I won't be too late.

I have done nothing to deserve such kindness and attention from you, nor have I been kind back to you. I must apologize for all my incivility and hope that with your high staring we may be able to reach Lydia in time before she does something rash.
